Some Benefits of Limiting Media Exposure

I found an interesting article on exconsumer.com. I thought the tagline of the website, "Buy less crap. Save more money. Be Free." was an interesting concept in itself. The idea that consumption ties us down, whereas letting go of consumption can free us is really interesting. In regards to consuming media, this writer suggests that there are many benefits in limiting our media exposure. Some key points are highlighted within the article, as well as the final sentence, "you will have the opportunity to spend more of your time creating rather than consuming."
